We are super excited to see everyone at the first week of classes next week (August 17th) it’s hard to believe that summer is almost over!!
Just a quick run down on a few things that will help make the first week of classes run more smoothly:
-Parking during the first few weeks of classes can be congested during certain hours of the day. Once everyone is familiar with the drop off/pick up policy parking does ease. Just remember to be kind and don’t get frustrated—it all works out.
-Parking is available in front as well as the back side of both the Great Oaks and Sam Bass studios.
-Please check the dress code requirements for your dancer and the classes they are taking. We are specific about the shoes and attire that dancers will need for all of our classes. If you have a question regarding attire, please ask us before your child wears it to class.
-Label all of your child’s dancewear with their name.
-Tuition is due the first of each month. Tuition received after the 7th of each month will incur a late fee that is applied to your account.
-The television monitor in the café is another resource for us to communicate with our dancers regarding studio news and updates. Also remember to sign up for the newsletter on the main page of our web site.
-For security purposes, our Great Oaks facility locks at 6:30 pm. For dancers taking classes after 6:30 pm at our Great Oaks location, you will need a key fob to access entry into the studio.
As our Sam Bass Location is not staffed, this location is secured 24/7 and you will need a key fob for entry for all classes. Key fobs can be acquired at our Great Oaks studios. There is a $5.00 deposit which will be reimbursed to you when you return the fob. We recommend at least two fobs per family. One for your dancer and one for you.
-Lastly, mark your calendars now for our 2016 Dance Recital. Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Raymond E Hartfield Performing Arts Center. There will be an evening performance on Friday and Saturday, in addition to a matinee on Saturday. Show times to be determined.
If you have any other questions regarding scheduling, dress code, etc. feel free to either email Miss Michelle (firstname.lastname@example.org) or give the studio a call: 512.248.8323
Looking forward to a great dance year!
