We know you love to dance—-but, do you love to sing?

The Dance Works is excited to offer private voice lessons with Ms. Lori Fisher.  Voice lessons are ideal for anyone ages 9 to adults who would like to improve and learn more about their voice and the world of the singer-actor.  Lessons can be scheduled throughout the week at our Lot4 Productions studio and will focus on posture, breathing, support, healthy production, and projection of the voice for our TheaterWorks students or dancers wanting to add to their repertoire.  Lessons can be scheduled once a week in half hour increments or more frequent if desired.  You can e-mail Ms. Lori at lori@thetheatreworks.com for more information or questions.

Breaking News from The TheatreWorks!

It’s with great excitement that The DanceWorks and TheatreWorks welcome Ms. Lori Fisher, our new music director! Lori is a premier voice instructor and vocal coach who also offers individual voice lessons.  She earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from University of Illinois, where she was mentored by Broadway baritone, Nathan Gunn.  While completing her Bachelor of Music from Oklahoma City University, she extensively studied musical theater and learned from many Tony Award-winning Broadway stars including Kristin Chenoweth and Kelly O’Hara.  When Ms. Fisher isn’t teaching voice or directing full scale musicals, she performs as a classical soprano soloist for St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Austin and throughout Central Texas.  She is also a featured jazz soloist and live music collaborator in the heart of downtown Austin.

With Ms. Fisher’s expertise in vocal performance and training, this adds another exciting training opportunity for our students to expand and refine their theatre skills.  Additionally, Ms. Fisher will be instructing our Musical Theatre classes.

TheatreWorks was founded with the purpose to “train and entertain”. TRAIN our students through performance opportunities, professional instruction, and personal development in the three genres of musical theatre so that we may ENTERTAIN and bring joy to family, friends, and the community with our talents.

It’s going to be a fabulous year full of great things!
