Our fall schedule is posted and needless to say we’re very excited to start dancing again on August 17th. Please remember to register early as we are seeing lots of registration activity very early this year.
I do want to take a moment to announce our wonderful staff for the upcoming dance season. I’m very proud and excited to announce our newest creatives for the up coming dance year.
Miss Kali Boyd
Kali is a familiar face to us—as we see her during our competition seasons as she works with one of our competitive dance competitions. Kali has choreographed for our Senior Elite teams as well as been a guest instructor for our FORCE Intensives and we are extremely excited that she will be working with our dancers every week!
Miss Lauren Parra
Lauren will be working with our Intermediate dancers on Friday’s this fall at the studio. Dancers have been able to enjoy her fun, upbeat style in her intermediate and advanced classes this summer and are anxious to see what fall has in store for them.
Mr Eric Yanez
Eric has worked with our dancers during our FORCE Intensive events at the studio and is looking forward to seeing our dancers on Wednesday’s this fall. Eric has numerous experience in both teaching hip hop and it’s various styles/genres as well as performing commercially.
You’ll also see those familiar faces that we love:
Miss Tracy will be teaching her always entertaining and requested Primary and Body Drop classes. Theatre Works is also under her direction this year and we can’t wait to see her fabulous kids perform in January!
Miss Lory is joy. Miss Lory is sunshine. From her primary level classes to her advanced classes, Miss Lory will again create and awe us with her unique ability to create dance pieces that leave us wanting more.
Our beloved Miss Sonja will be working with our ballerinas this season as well as Directing the development and choreography for our Halloween Benefit Gala. Her unique, imaginative, style is always a crowd pleaser—from her classical ballet to contemporary ballet to the dark, entertaining work she brings to the Halloween event, we’re looking forward to watching her create this season.
Miss Rebecca returns for another season molding and shaping our Hip Hop dancers. Miss Rebecca teaches all levels and works exclusively with our Hip Hop Crews. Her Nationally award winning choreography is always fresh, fabulous, and fun!
Miss Emily will be working with our Level I/II dancers this season in ballet/jazz and tap as well as adding competitive team work to her teaching resume. Emily is diverse in her teaching and is also a skilled costumer. Many of the beautiful costumes/headpieces you see at recital are her handiwork. We just love her and are so excited to have her with us again.
Miss Samantha returns tapping her toes and will be teaching tap along with adding a couple of Primary level classes to her schedule. Miss Samantha also works with various levels of our competitive teams. Miss Samanatha grew up in the studio and brings the love she has for her DW family into her classes—and it shows.
This will be Miss Natalie’s second season teaching at the studio although she’s been part of our family for numerous dance seasons with her little dancers. Natalie will be teaching ballet and tap/jazz classes and is always a favorite with our students.
Miss Ava and Miss Mohra will be showing us much love again this dance season thru their wonderful, delicious baked goodies. In addition to making a pretty mean cup of coffee and grilled cheese, they can assist you with any dance related questions you may have. Always served with a smile.
It’s going to be another amazing dance year and we’re anxious to get started! Enjoy the rest of your summer and we’ll see you August 17th, when classes begin. Register. Classes are filling!
