The Dance Works holds one yearly recital where all students are welcome and encouraged to participate. They are held in a professional environment, currently the RRISD Performing Arts Center located adjacent to McNeil High School. Preparations begin in the winter with costumes ordered during the month of December.
New Term Students
All new term students (January enrollment) interested in participating in the Spring show MUST contact the director for costume information. Costume orders are not accepted AFTER DECEMBER 31. You will have your choice as to whether you would like your dancer to participate in these recitals, although we encourage all students and families to participate! This is where you (as well as your family, friends, whomever!) can see the progress your dancer has made and how he or she has blossomed from a student to a performer! The shows are always entertaining and more than worth all of the hard work!
Production Fee
Single Student: $65
Family: $75
Due Date: March 1, 2013
Each student participating in the spring recital will be assessed a $65 single student or $75 family (more than one student participating) production fee to be paid on March 1, 2013. Fees not paid by the due date will incur a $20 late fee. More detailed information is posted at the studio and on the website as the time approaches. The spring performance is optional.
Dress Rehearsals
June 3 - June 6, 2013
Regular classes are not held during dress rehearsal week. Dress rehearsals and picture sessions are held at the studio. Pictures require make-up, full hair and full costumes.
