The Dance Works Storms VIP Regionals!

The Dance Works dancers competed this past weekend and the results are in!
We were so very proud of all our groups, duets and soloists for their latest performances.
There were lots of high gold and platinum flowing back to The Dance Works dancers with some very special performances highlighted at the award show as well.

A quick recap-
Our world famous “Dance Works Crew” dominated the competition and came away with a Platinum and 3rd place overall.

The Dance Works Elite Team received a Platinum for their awesome rendition of Coffee Break and a Judges Choice Award for most entertaining. They also delivered a Platinum performance for their dance To Build A Home, and came away with High Golds for Ghost, Pressure and Stand Alone.

The Teen Team took High Gold honors and placed 6th overall for their dance All Aboard and Mountains took a Gold.

Our Junior Team received a High Gold and a 1st Place Overall for routine Vacation.

Our Newest Team, “Our Minis” received a High Gold for their cute as heck Jazz Dance, School’s Out! They also received an Outstanding Execution Award for their technique.

Our outstanding Duet & Solo Dancers received High Gold and Platinum awards with Sophia Smith receiving special VIP recognition for a top scoring solo and Brennah Galvin came away with a Judges Choice award for her effort. Nick and Abigail received a 1st place overall for their duet.

Recital Reminder!

Mark your calendars now for our 2014 Dance Recital – Wednesday June 11th and Thursday June 12th at the Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center. Dress rehearsal week will be the week of June 2nd-6th.

The television monitor in the café is another resource for us to communicate with our dancers regarding studio news and updates. Please take a peek at it when dropping off or picking up your dancer.
